This video abstract was a collaboration between PhD student Basile Marteau and me.
Marteau was looking for a video that would give non-expert audiences a glimpse of what his work involves, by presenting the results of a recent paper from his research team.

He provided the original script, which I transformed into an animated video abstract, using clear spoken and visual language to make the scientific concepts accessible to a non-expert audience. To make the video more personal, we used Marteau’s own voice for the narration.

The colour palette was chosen to keep Marteau and the ducklings at the centre of the scene, following them as the scientific process unfolds.
